Very insightful ... how to get that understanding out there? Thanks for doing your part to fight the propaganda machine

Thanks David. It requires at the very least all of us recognising and sharing how distorted our understanding has been, and that this distortion was the precedent that allowed so many others to the point where the people in power are utterly divorced from reality.

I’d argue that the democrats are worse than the Nazis and commies since not even Hitler and Stalin would accept that men can have babies.

Well yes, their delusions are more advanced and profound. Their atrocities have only been restrained by what tatters are left of western civilisational norms, and by the fact that they haven’t needed death camps yet. But under Globalism it’s arguable that have already committed a global genocide (compare how many people have died from mRNA experiments to how many died from Nazi ones).

One of the most troublesome and tiresome phenomena we’re facing today is that the opposition is feasting off elaborate and protean fantasies: the “extreme” right, Christian Nationalists, climate change, reproductive freedom, infinite genders. I believe the purpose is to confuse and exhaust into submission, entirely reminiscent of our totalitarian predecessors.

Yes, and this entire delusional narrative of imaginary enemies (used as a cover for attacking all western civilisation) was started really by pretending that the postwar world was somehow still needing to fight Nazism and not equally or more required to fight Communism. Treating a defeated force as a remaining threat whilst treating an active force as purely a foreign threat was the beginning of this delusional process.

Your grasp of history, and your incisive mind make this article not only fizz, but race through the propaganda we have lived under for generations. It is an excellent read and one to gain an insight on the machinations of those who seek to be our tyrannical rulers.

Very sad but excellently written. I pray against reality that the stoopids in the mainstream middle class will wake up in the next two months, but its probably just wishful daydreaming! ☹️

Excellent article.

In terms of the EU, I was reminded of briefly meeting Vladimir Bukovsky during the British campaign to leave the EU - which he termed the EUSSR, unable to understand the public failure to see where it would lead. He had spent nearly 12 years in Soviet prisons, labor camps and psychiatric hospitals for nonviolent human rights activities and made the following comparison between the EU and the USSR -

"“It is really puzzling to me that having just buried one monster, the Soviet Union, another remarkably similar one, the European Union, is being built. Exactly what is the EU? Perhaps by examining the Soviet version we can get the answer. The Soviet Union was governed by 15 un-elected people who appointed each other and who were not accountable to anyone. The EU is governed by 24 people who appoint each other, meet in secret, and are not accountable to anyone and whom we cannot see. One may say that the EU has an elected parliament. Well, the Soviet Union had a parliament of a sort too, the Supreme Soviet. They just rubber stamped the political decisions, pretty much like the EU parliament does. The speaking time in the chamber is limited within each group and often amounts to 1 minute per speaker. In the EU there are hundreds of thousands of Eurocrats with their huge salaries, staff servants, bosses and privileges, their life long immunity from prosecution, which is simply shuffled from one position to another no matter what they do or fail to do. Is this not exactly like the Soviet Union regime? The SU was created by coercion and military occupation. The EU is being created admittedly not by armed force but by coercion and economic bullying. In order to continue to exist the SU spread itself further and further. The moment it stopped spreading it started collapsing. And I suspect the same is true of the EU. We were told the purpose of the SU was to create a new historic entity: the Soviet people, and that we must forget out nationality, our ethnic traditions and customs. The same thing is true of the EU. They don’t want you to be British or French. They want you all to be a new historic entity: European, in order to suppress your national feelings and live as a multinational community. After 73 years the same system in the SU resulted in more ethnic conflict than anywhere in the world. In the SU one of the grand purposes was the destruction of the nation state, and that’s exactly what we observe in Europe today. Brussels intends to absorb nation states so that they should cease to exist. Corruption was built into the Soviet system from top-down and so it is in the EU. "

Senator McCarthy was a bad man - you don't beat your enemy in the land of the free by behaving like your enemy, you don't make people squeal just to save their own skins and you don't fall for the idea that there were real Reds with Power lurking under any Beds, not then and not now.

My late father voted to stay in the EU even though he knew it was corrupt and useless but he lived through the war and thought it was the price the British had to pay to keep the Germans from putting their uniforms back on. He also had a large amount of fear about the USSR and the Commies - no opinion on China though! We had many a long and heated discussion about it all - I thought communism was wonderfully romantic when I was a teenager (until I went to the Eastern Bloc countries and saw how crap it was and realised it was Russia and Russians that I was being romantic about - Eugene Onegin, ballet, Tolstoy, that sort of Russia).

Also, at school, I was always confused as to why I was told the Nazis were Right-wing when it was obvious they were Left-wing (although not as far Left as the USSR) - the clue was/is in the name isn't it?

I’m afraid that now we do have to behave like our enemy, or we will lose everything. And maybe that has always been the case, and was the case when McCarthy was around too. There are no half measures with communists, Islam, or modern Globalists. You either keep them away from power or they destroy your entire world.

The great triumph of the left has been in convincing you that McCarthy “was a bad man.” As for how many Reds were under beds, the Venona Papers have told us, vindicating McCarthy
