It isn't hyperbole to say that this is the single most important and consequential election of our lifetimes. The stakes have literally never been higher.

If Trump wins, there is potential for a great revival of the American experiment. With Trump, you unlock American energy and wealth creation, and lock the border. With Elon, mass efficiencies are delivered to a bloated federal bureaucracy. With Kennedy, a critical invention to the health and wellbeing crisis. With Gabbard, advocacy for peace. With Vivek, a positive strategy for cryptocurrency. You're voting for freer speech, healthier children, diplomacy over war, prosperity, and safer conditions on the streets.

And for Kamala Harris, you're voting for the end of American democracy as we know it. She will grant citizenship and voting rights to tens of millions of illegals, and that combined with proposed changes to the electoral college, supreme court, and the filibuster will make it impossible for another party to win a national election for generations. You're voting for less choice, criminal speech, war, continued economic decline, less sovereignty, and the giving away of your country to people who don't belong in it.

And they say that it is "close". It is not "close". It is the system vs the people. Let's hope enough of the people turn out today and do the right thing.

Excellent reply and yes, the plan is to make elections redundant even without rigging them and fix permanent Democrat rule in place. If they steal this one, it’s lasting tyranny.

The first sentence in your last paragraph was epic. And truthful.

Superb analysis and superbly written. We face the same choices in Ireland...we're already quite advanced down the road to tyranny.

Thanks and yes it’s the same in every western nation. Globalists have become dangerous extremists and they are in power labelling others as extreme. This is an across the West problem we are all dealing with. Ireland is one of the places being most betrayed by its leaders and in some ways it’s even more astonishing there, given how your modern nation was formed. One hundred years to get from British rule is intolerable to Brussels rule makes sense, and from ourselves alone to every bloody stranger is better than our own and must be welcomed to replace us. It’s amazing really.

Peanut the squirrel who brought joy to so many, is a symbol of much of what is wrong. You have summed it up perfectly and succinctly

Such a compelling analysis of the situation. The story of tiny Peanuts was a tragic reflection of so many miscarriages of justice. But just as teachers are trained not to teach their students how to think, cops are trained not to let their "feelings" get in the way of their job. A complete makeover is needed.

Thanks, and a good point re cops training. It’s the one instance in which more feeling would be an improvement. Not the delusional emotion of the other side, but basic decency when given foul orders.

The cruelty and absurdity of that event is perfectly summed up in your single sentence: And nobody, at any point in this, stopped and said ‘hey, guys, like, what the fuck is this? Are we really going on a Squirrel Mission?’. Thank you for this essay. Peanut the squirrel and Fred the raccoon and their family all matter and this awful event needs to be understood by us all as what could happen to any one of us tomorrow if we don't reestablish rational governance....

Thanks. It’s all part of their conviction that they should control everything. There is an inherent insanity to it.

Thanks Martyn. There are much better investigative type writers then me, because that’s not so much my thing, but I’m much more confident regarding my polemical style and ‘voice’. 😀😀
