The disturbing thing, for me, is how little coverage or discussion this remarkable interview has generated. From my vantage point, this essay is just about it. It’s as though it never occurred. Putin's weapon in this interview is honesty and to show the contrast between an intelligent and articulate leader and the leaders he helped to install in America and the West.

However, I think you missed the biggest reason why the western media is so anti-Putin and so willing to engage in censorship: they must continue to vilify Putin in order to cling to their hoax that Trump is a Putin asset. Very good point. It’s an exact reversal of the Cold War. Then we were better. Now we are worse. Some people remain blind to that change.
