I think I shall adopt the Limbaugh convention of just saying “Dittos” for each superb piece you write. The disturbing thing, for me, is how little coverage or discussion this remarkable interview has generated. From my vantage point, this essay is just about it. It’s as though it never occurred. That’s especially ironic when you compare Putin’s erudite and thoughtful responses (all two hours worth) with Biden’s angry, demented squawking about the DOJ’s fitness report. What a shocking contrast.

Thanks Mitchell. It is a shocking contrast. I think they know that, which is why they need the censorship.

BRAVO. Another excellent, balanced take on a tough subject. Sharing far and wide.

Boris Johnson was sent to Ukraine to prevent an already formed peace deal being signed....

Boris Johnson is a WEF buttboy. He knows where his loyalties lie and it only goes as far as his bank balance. Contrast Johnson with Kari Lake who refused megabucks to walk. He is scum. Anybody idiotic enough (and there are plenty) to want Johnson back in office is delusional. He was only ever in it for what was in it for him. Period.

Completely true. I was fooled for awhile and even liked him somewhat. But he will go down as another in the line of grotesque traitors we have had since Thatcher was removed by coup.

Biden is 81 Putin is 71 ... what a difference 10 years makes in mental acumen. Putin is lucid and readily speaks at length when questioned. Biden comes across as a testy, bumbling old fool.

President was not mentally competent to be tried in court on the finding that he’d indeed mishandled classified documents....

This is rather sneaky ... It sets the precedent that Biden cannot give evidence or be tried for any criminal activity that comes to light in the future. And everyone knows the Biden clan are all as bent as nine bob notes.

Remember the days of Chernenko and Brezhnev when the Soviets had the doddering leaders dying in place? And we had Reagan, who was old, but principled and honestly elected? Now the tables have turned. Our leader was chosen by our current version of the Supreme Soviet, which even now is preparing the throne for his doddering but more youthful VP. I look forward to listening to Tucker's interview this weekend.

Very good point. It’s an exact reversal of the Cold War. Then we were better. Now we are worse. Some people remain blind to that change.

I remember Mikhail Gorbachev. He never received the accolades that should have been accorded.

The relative ages could be reversed and Putin would still be the better man by a colossal margin.

With nauseating predictability, Boris Johnson has devoted an entire page of The Mail calling Tucker Carlsen a " fauning stooge of Putin, straight out of Hitler's playbook"

This is the guy that doesn't mind being photographed with Azov battalions in the background, holding the hand of disgraced Nazi Poroshenko's replacement

Johnson's duplicity was laughed off, when he was elected on the slogan..."Get Brexit done" How duped we were as the blond bimbo fanatically fans the flames of war with his best buddy, Biden

Boris is an especially tragic figure, but even more than Major, Cameron, May, or Sunak he represents the death of British Conservatism. He had an opportunity to be better, and he pretended to be better. But he is just another pathetic globalist puppet, even after they used and discarded him. Not an original thought in his head, and not a single shred of genuine principle in his heart. Now he's like a tired old whore trying to get back in the fancy cathouse.

Putin's weapon in this interview is honesty and to show the contrast between an intelligent and articulate leader and the leaders he helped to install in America and the West.

The old Nazis were so inefficient! Why use force to send people to Auschwitz when you can get them to line up for the opportunity? Just started reading Brave New World which is surely being used as an instruction manual by the globalists. Soon half of all children are expected to be autistic, yes, half of the kids will be on the mentally retarded spectrum. The rational mind is the globalist's enemy just like in the world created by Aldous Huxley.

There are lots of things very right about Orwell and Huxley, but overall Huxley was better on the general approach modern tyranny would take whilst Orwell was good on specifics (the memory hole stuff is just like modern reporting and revisionist and Marxist history).

Excellent article. However, I think you missed the biggest reason why the western media is so anti-Putin and so willing to engage in censorship: they must continue to vilify Putin in order to cling to their hoax that Trump is a Putin asset. Putin hatred is just another manifestation of Trump hatred - if they were to treat Putin fairly it would undermine their TDS about Trump and Russia collusion.

Good point Ed. I think there’s more to it than that (like wanting to divvy up Russian and Ukrainian mineral resources. Putin’s reign effectively blocked that). But yes, this is also a big factor.

Some people fail to realize that Joe Biden is a dictator. 1/4 of the world because they believe the propaganda and actually support the idiot, 1/4 of them because they're paid to support him.

The rest of us know better. Half the people in the world realize he's a dictator and aligns himself with other dictators like Zelensky and the Ukraine, China, Venezuela, the Middle East. That's where America's money is going, those are the people our borders are open to.... Tucker Carlson understands that.

I'm glad you see it too. But I wouldn't hold my breath for what now passes for journalism to reveal any of those truths.

True. MSM isn’t going to become honest. It has to be destroyed.

They appear to be committing suicide themselves. It's entirely conceivable that mainstream media will be dead by the end of the decade.

It’s a Catch 22 for them. They are dying because they are owned, but they are owned because they are dying. They need the money they get paid by malign billionaires, but to get it they have to lie outrageously. This drives people away, meaning they need more money from malign billionaires.

You aren't being a "real journalist." You're being a traitor, a Quisling, a propagandist for the Muscovite despotism.

Don’t you see how hysterical and programmed your response is? What is it about our leaders that makes you so devoted to them? The stolen elections? The forced injections? The censorship? The open borders? These are the people telling you to hate Putin, but your duty if you are a patriot is to hate them. It’s not Putin that’s taking my freedom away and ruining my nation. And noticing that Putin’s position has some justice behind it and that Ukraine isn’t a great place is not being his puppet. It’s being rational.

Grow up and start thinking more. I know Putin’s faults. I also know the idea he threatens me more than my own leaders do is false. The West has been taken over by evil lunatics who possibly want nuclear war, and certainly want you and I as slaves more than Putin does.
