I'm always impressed by your writing skills Dan (Envious even) and the fact that you are totally sure of where your sympathies should be directed ... I am even more impressed after reading this. Thank you.

Thanks very much Mick. I hope the certainty always has rational explanations, but that’s for readers to judge too. 😀

The fact that you have to resort to such a tired cliche shows you haven’t actually thought about this. There is NO wrong in going after Hamas, who are filthy savages. ALL civilian casualties are a result of the disgusting attack on Oct 7th. Israel follows the Geneva Convention, it has rules of engagement, it gives warnings to civilians, it usually provides food, energy and medical care to both captured enemy combatants and civilians. It doesn’t engage in indiscriminate slaughter or rape. It does use bombing, but only in the same way Allied forces did in WWII and only according to the accepted rules on a just war-NOT targeting civilians, targeting military and terrorist infrastructure. It is the responsibility of HAMAS that the terror organisation uses its own populace as human shields, not the responsibility of Israel.

On one hand you have a civilian population that votes for and delights in terrorist atrocities. On the other hand you have a civilian population who want peace and have been offering peace for 70 years which the Islamic maniacs refuse to accept.

But sure, be on the side of the Islamic terrorist filth if you want to, or offer a false ‘two wrongs’ bullshit that would mean Hamas getting away with it.

Incidentally, what do you make of the reports from multiple sources that the three Hamas leaders are multi-billionaires, living comfortably in Qatar?

Weird isn’t it? Almost as if it’s all a gigantic con, combined with psychotic terrorism.🤔And still the West pumps money into ‘Palestinian aid’.

It’s because I’ve done a deeper dive that I know how obscene it is to take a ‘neutral’ position or claim moral equivalence between the two sides. People did that with the IRA and British Army too and that was also morally disgusting. There is a difference between a military following the rules of war and a terrorist organisation that wants genocide. There is also a difference between civilisation and barbarism. There is also a difference between real history, which shows Jewish connection with that area for thousands of years, and Marxist revisionism, which pretends claiming your ancestral homeland is colonialism.

I have no time for anyone who supports Islam in any way or anyone who excuses Jew hatred in any way. You can consider this an emotional position but it’s based on actual facts, unlike any ‘poor Palestinians’ narrative. There were no Jews in Gaza persecuting Palestinians. Gaza has been ruled by Hamas for 20 years and they murdered all opposition. Israel is not occupying Gaza-Hamas is.

I know you think you are being more nuanced and sophisticated but it’s based on lies. You can keep listening to those false equivalence arguments but they don’t hold for me.

Mate! You Jew hatred is won on your sleeve.
