Living in the bureaucracy that is America, many of us noticed that the real change began when we started passing laws to ensure that everyone was treated equally. Now our bureaucrats, and that's every government worker, are following protocol. They never bother to think about what they're doing or assess the situation or make that moral judgment. Every move is already laid out for them and they think that as long as they follow the protocol it doesn't matter that it doesn't work.
The astounding thing to the rest of us is that they never figure that out.
Very well put and you can apply the same to the experience people have with the large corporate providers of both services and products. I work in financial services and the creeping trend of no-one takes any responsibility for or even views the customer as a human being seems to have accelerated very markedly during the COVID period. Last year I had a seriously ill elderly client wanting to cash in an investment. I needed some figures from the insurer to determine if the encashment needed to be spread across 2 tax years. It took 7 months plus 2 complaints to be provided with incorrect information again and again and again with me screaming down the phone 'this man is in distress please take repsonsibility, please help' and them responding with 'I will make a note of your comments and send it through to the relevant department. It sometimes leaves me wondering if the person on the end of the phone is actually a human being. I am on the front line between clients and providers and this beaurocratic nightmare which leaves me raging against the machine on a daily basis.
I think off shoring plays a part too. Companies with their "helplines" or call centres in foreign countries might as well be uncontactable. to misquote the old adage, distance does not make the heart grow fonder!
Yes I agree. It is all part of the machine controlled, cost cutting, profit increasing business model. Outsourcing to a call centre in India or elsewhere is so much cheaper than paying staff in Western nations. Not to worry though once they have achieved perfect global equity aka total global poverty maybe they will be able to bring that function back home or more probably we will just be speaking to AI bots.
Weather modification is and has been happening for decades. The manipulation has been refined to the point that it is beyond conspiracy theory.
Because this area is home to one of the largest deposits of lithium in the world the "perfect storm' was created to turn this hurricane to hit precisely over this area, and, in turn, do a land grab, displacing the residents of western North Carolina (same as Maui). The DOD recently gave mining rights in the area to a company whose major stock holder is Black Rock.
It has been reported by citizens on social media that towns like Chimney Rock have been bull dozed to the ground.
It has also been closed to civilian help and supplies coming in because they are withholding the number of deaths that have occurred.
As an American I have no doubt whatsoever that my evaluation of this horrid scenerio is inaccurate.
It would seem that our modern advanced societies are just stuck with their modern equivalent of Dickens’ Circumlocution Office. Stuck with both its dreary nannying state bureaucracy and its late-stage-capitalist blah blah. Nobody really has any idea what could realistically be done about the general Kafkaesqueness of the interface between us as individuals and 'The System'.
