There’s a balance in it because a middling operative like Fauci probably knows that they can be made into heroes or cast aside as no longer useful whenever the true powers feel like it. Yes I absolutely think that is true - it was flickering across my mind as I wrote the first comment. I guess what we see is someone hedging their bets as to which side ultimately 'wins' and how that affects them hence the floundering.
Fauci's not only small in stature, he's a moral pygmy. Think of all of the lives he so flippantly destroyed by lockdowns, social distancing, masks, vaxes, not backed by any scientific evidence that any of them actually "worked." He also got rich off the restrictions and mandates he imposed on the rest of us. "The Science" = crimes against humanity. He should be in jail.

The real virus was behavioral, afflicting the human hive. If sociology is a valid “science,” its students will be writing doctoral theses for decades to come, attempting to explain what the hell happened. And yet Fauci still said the "unvaccinated" were to blame for the spread of the virus when everyone knows you can only get a virus from someone who has the virus. It didn't matter whether you had a shot or not.

How can Fauci sleep at night knowing he is responsible for millions of deaths and injuries worldwide?
Having watched Fauci in action for the past 4 years shows that he wouldn't loose one minute of sleep. He is not like the rest of us.
