The most remarkable thing about Covid Crimes is that hardly anyone gives a shit

As someone who was passionately and rationally (yes, you can do both) against every single Covid measure, and was pretty much from the very start, the only thing more amazing than how everyone went along with the insanity, is the way nobody really really cares about it at all just a couple of years later.

In the UK, for example, we currently have an ongoing ‘Covid enquiry’ which features in little dribs and drabs, only now and then, in the mainstream news. Enquiries have of course often been the exact opposite of what they are claimed to be. People call for an enquiry not when they want to reveal the truth, but when they want to bury it beneath mountains of delay, prevarication, evasion, official jargon and sheer mind-numbing tedium. The ‘I refer you to the ongoing enquiry, and I am not at liberty to say any more until its conclusions are published’ answer is a well established bureaucratic classic. Or else the thing is intended very obviously, from the very start, not just to punt answers into the long grass and delay responses until nobody cares, but to deliver some spectacular whitewash in the proud tradition of the US Warren Commission.
