However...who are these young people watching the BBC and reading the Times whilst listening to Alistair Campbell's podcast? If they are the same entitled twats parading through London waving flags or stopping traffic in support of the latest new thing (The Climate! Ukraine! Palestine!) then they are the same morons from universities who don't actually get round to voting.
As for those frigging liberal Boomers swanning around the Cotswolds and the Dordogne via pop concerts performed by 80 year old past-its. They do watch the Beeb and read the papers and believe wholeheartedly that Brexit was evil, Trump is evil, Putin is evil, the climate is being destroyed by evil rightwingers and all that stuff. They do vote. They won't vote for any wacky new political party and, on the day, they will see what the Guardian says and vote for the Libs or the Greens but will it matter? What will be left of their country by the next election?
Sadly, too entertaining! Glad I live in a slightly less asinine country, though there are clear forces at work who wish to escalate this to a point of mayhem.
